Tata Mumbai Marathon
The largest marathon in Asia, the Tata Mumbai Marathon includes a Full Marathon (42.195 kms), Half Marathon (21.097 kms), Dream Run (6.6 km), Senior Citizens Race (4.7 km), Champions with Disability category (2.1 km) and a newly added Open 10K run. Over 46,000 participants take to the streets of Mumbai on the third Sunday of January every year.
TCS New York City Marathon
Since 2014, TCS has been the title sponsor of what is arguably the largest marathon in the world. The TCS NYC Marathon is one of many global running events sponsored by TCS (others include the Amsterdam Marathon and the TCS Lidingöloppet), and embodies TCS's commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates.
Tata Steel Chess Tournament
Known as the "Wimbledon of Chess", the Tata Steel Chess Tournament is one of the most prestigious events in the international chess calendar. It attracts the best chess grandmasters in the world, along with amateur players, live event visitors, and online visitors from around the world. The tournament celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2018.
Tata Crucible
Tata Crucible, India’s largest business quiz, is a knowledge initiative that brings together the sharpest minds in India, to take on a fast-paced quiz, encouraging lateral thinking. Started in 2004, the annual, nationwide competition is held in two separate tracks for corporates and campus students. The campus edition of is also held in Singapore and Dubai.
Tata Ultra Marathon
First Book
Tata North America and First Book have been working together for more than a decade to transform the lives of children by providing equal access to quality education and serving children in need. Tata and First Book provide children with books and learning resources to enable literacy support. Since 2008, over 500,000 books have been distributed.
