Tata Power's Club Enerji organises rally to raise awareness on conservation of natural resources in Pune, Maharashtra
Pune: Club Enerji, Tata Power's nationwide movement, has played a vital role in raising awareness among citizens across cities on the importance of conservation of energy and natural resources. Over the period of 10 years, the campaign has touched upon various cities in the country.

Following on the campaign, Tata Power's Club Enerji, organised a mega awareness rally at BT Shahani Navin Hind High School, Pune, and in the adjoining areas of the school, to raise awareness on the importance of conservation of natural resources in the vicinity. Around 100 students from the school participated in the Club Enerji rally which conveyed the message of a greener and brighter future to people passing by. Around 1000 people were sensitised during the rally after which the students went back to school to continue with their regular classes.
Speaking on this initiative, Anil Sardana, MD and CEO, Tata Power, said, “Tata Power’s Club Enerji, in its 10th year of its journey, has carved a niche for itself in the gamut of campaigns for conservation of energy. The campaign, led by the students, has witnessed resounding success in raising awareness on conservation of energy across the society. The initiative undertaken by BT Shahani Navin Hind High School, Pune, further reinforces the commitment in building a greener and cleaner future. The Club Enerji programme has reached out to over 500 schools in India and has sensitised over 15 million citizens, who in turn have helped save more than 21 MU of electricity till date. The club also has 1,337 self-sustaining mini Club Enerji’s and has won several national and international accolades.
