Tata Power's Club Enerji organises energy conservation awareness rally in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: Club Enerji, Tata Power's nationwide energy and resources conservation movement, has constantly worked towards spreading the message of responsible citizenship by conservation of energy and natural resources across the country. Taking the commitment ahead, Club Enerji’s students from Sri Kumaran Children’s Home, Bengaluru, organised a rally in the premises of Tata Silk Farms.

The objective of the rally was to sensitise the audience about energy conservation and active citizenship. Around 80 students participated in the rally and interacted with the audience about the importance of conserving energy. The students also performed a skit as a part of the rally which was highly appreciated by the employees of Tata Silk Farms.
Speaking about the initiative, Anil Sardana, MD and CEO, Tata Power, said, “Tata Power’s Club Enerji is a movement that will help us shape the minds of our younger generations to be sustainable individuals. The awareness rally provides the platform to these kids to spread awareness about energy conservation and make a difference in the society. I take this opportunity to thank the students and management of the schools for making this initiative a grand success.”
More than 100 students participated in the painting and slogan competition organised by the school. The Club Enerji programme has reached out to over 500 schools in India and has sensitised over 15 million citizens, who in turn have helped save more than 21MU of electricity till date. The club also has around 1,500 self-sustaining mini Club Enerjis and has won several national and international accolades.
