Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities
· Assist the Financial Controller in formulating budgets and ensuring its strict adherence.
· Generating financial reports for expediting decision-making procedure.
· Ensuring compliance of Internal Control procedures in the Hotel.
· Monitor cost and profit performance of all departments regularly and provide recommendations/suggest corrective action.
· Coordination with Internal and Statutory Auditor
Task statements
· To ensure the adherence of Standard Accounting procedures (GAAP) in all the accounting operations.
· Monitor timely preparation and submission of MIS reports.
· Ensure monthly closing of books of accounts
· Assist the Financial controller in ensuring all financial activities, maintenance of accounts, and compliance with statutory requirements.
· Balance Sheet Management
· Creditors control
· Preparation of the Balance sheet and the profit and loss statements for the hotel.
· Liaise with Banks, financial institutions and other government authorities on various financial matters.
· Maintain safety and integrity of data.
· Be aware and alert about surrounding and inform security of any concerns
