Brief about the Team

Tata 1mg collaborates with a range of hospitals and healthcare providers to offer healthcare services  and medication to patients. This involves pharmacy services, such as dispensing, compounding, and  counseling. The hospital OPD/IPD team works closely with patients to deliver medications at the hospital

or directly to their homes following discharge, ensuring that patients receive the required medications in  a timely and efficient manner. This helps to improve the overall health outcomes of patients and ensure  they have a smooth and comfortable recovery process.



What will you do

 Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy in a cancer hospital, including staffing,  scheduling, and workflow management

 Provide leadership and supervision to pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, performance  evaluation, and professional development

 Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures related to medication management,  dispensing, and storage in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory/ QA requirements

 Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of medications, including controlled substances, in  compliance with applicable laws and regulations

 Review and verify medication orders and prescriptions for appropriateness, accuracy, and  potential drug interactions

 Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile compounding, in accordance with established  protocols and guidelines  Provide drug information and consultation to healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers  regarding medication therapy, side effects, and interactions

 Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement  evidence-based medication therapy management plans for cancer patients

 Monitor medication utilization and implement strategies to optimize medication use, including  formulary management, cost-effective drug therapy, and medication safety initiatives

 Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and committees to promote safe and effective medication  management practices and improve patient outcomes

 Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all pharmacy activities, including medication  dispensing, compounding, counseling, and adverse drug reactions

 Stay updated with the latest developments in oncology and pharmacy practice through  continuous education and professional development



What we are looking for

 4  to 8 Years of experience in Hospital IPD as Pharmacy In charge

 Knowledge on advance excel/billing exp in medicine store & hospital IPD supply flow

 Lingual proficiency of the local language

 Strong knowledge of oncology medications, chemotherapy protocols, drug interactions, and  adverse effects

 Excellent communication skills

 Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage and supervise pharmacy staff

 Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards related to medication management  in a healthcare setting

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize tasks

 Proficient in using pharmacy software and technology for medication dispensing, documentation,  and drug utilization review
