Site Survey Job Description:

·       Good understanding of the cell site layout and architecture

·       Should have knowledge of German telecommunication policies

·       Good understanding of the type of tower 3-leg/ 4-leg / Angular / Tubular and GBT/RTT/RTP / mast/ camouflage / monopole, etc..

·       Identify the site type like Indoor/ Outdoor / IBS

·       Good understanding of shelter / DG/ Power plant / Air conditioner/Earthing

·       Should have understanding of RF, MW, Fiber, routers, switches, other Transmission equipments

·       Should be able to identify the site cabinet and types.

·       Should have knowledge of collecting survey information like type of antenna / AAU / RRU / BBU / CPRI / SFP /Jumper cables / Feeder/ RET /GPS and their models.

·       Good understanding of no of Antenna port / RRU Port / RF Band

·       Should have experience in doing electrical survey like main power, AC/DC Distribution board, MCB/ rectifiers / Battery Bank/ Signage Board and site infra equipment's.

·       Should have the knowledge to identify the tower height / no of RF & MW Pole installed / Cable length btw the RRU & BBU

·       Providing proposal for the cable tray, Roxtec, Pole mount,TXN Rack, New cabinet, Wall mount cabinet

·       Should have knowledge to collect the Azimuth /Tilt / All type of Antenna height/technology /Space available for Proposed equipment installation.

·       Good understanding of the passive & active equipment

·       Good knowledge of capturing the photographs of each equipment's and 360 deg panoramic view of photograph along with clutter and any obstacles (if present)

·       Good knowledge of measuring the existing equipment's AC/DC power details

·       Good knowledge of measuring the earthing values and checking the earth pit & bus bar grounding connectivity and lightning arrestor availability.

·       Measuring the site boundaries and making the site layout with detailed measurements.

·       Should have experience in handling the Multimeter / Clamp meter / Compass / Measuring tape / Camera/ GPS

·       Should have knowledge of Health & safety

·       Should have experience in filling out the survey checklist and making the report.

·       Should have knowledge of providing the best solutions based on the site conditions to achieve the target configuration.

·       Understanding of the civil structure wherever the modifications / new build is required

·       Coordinate with the stakeholders to get access approval for the survey.

·       Should have knowledge of German telecommunication policies

·       Good knowledge of understanding the RF/MW Planning details

·       Should have work at height certification for doing the tower activities

·       Preparing the BOM & BOQ based on the survey information.

·       Preparing the complete Technical Site Survey Report

• Proficient in MS Office Suite/ PDF/GIS with System proficiency
• Proficiency in both German & English language.
• Total experience between 6-8 years.
