Design : Strategy Development : Market research and AOP | ||
1. Undertake consumer / market research aligned to the identified megatrends to develop the design directions for the products 2. Participate in the development of the detailed design calendar aligned to the marketing calendar | · Market research · Design direction and design calendar | · Adherence to timelines · Quality of inputs |
Design : Product Development : Design Development Watches | ||
1. Participate the product brief from the marketing team to capture the requirements 2. Develop the design idea based on the design brief, translate the idea into drawing / sketches and present to the team for approvals iterations 3. Coordinate with the technical team for the development of the technical drawing to ensure its alignment with the design idea 4. Participate in the presentation of the design concept and technical drawing to the marketing team and other relevant stakeholders to garner required approvals 5. Liaise with the stakeholders in the development of the RPT sample and present it to the NPD, sales team and other stakeholders for approvals and iterations 6. Coordinate with the NPD team in the development of the prototype aligned to the concept and ensure that it meets the quality / design requirements 7. Participate in the NPIM meet to showcase the final prototype to the various stakeholders viz. marketing, retail, senior leadership team to garner their inputs and ensure that the recommendations are incorporated 8. Develop the PBPM along with all the technical specifications and release to the manufacturing team for mass production | · Design brief · Technical drawing and design concept · RPT samples and prototypes | · Adherence to brand, quality guidelines · Adherence to timelines |
