Our team visits select business schools in India for a comprehensive campus hiring process that includes a summer internship, TAS Finals/Laterals as well as pre-placement talks and competitions. We periodically review the list of campuses we visit in any given year.

Campus process
We currently visit the following business schools:

Selection Process
Summer Placements:
Open to first-year students, this 8-week internship, with challenging goals and real-time projects, gives you a taste of the Tata universe and what it’s like to work with us.
Application Process
- TAS Application Form: Candidates fill up the TAS application form. Details of the application process are shared through college Placement Committees.
- Gamified Assessment: Students undergo an exciting gamified assessment.
- Leadership Group Discussion: Shortlisted candidates participate in a leadership group discussions, also known as the Chairman’s GD, on a range of topics.
- Final Interview: A face-to-face interaction with senior leaders from the Tata group.
Pre-Placement:
- PPO Process: The Pre-Placement Offer process includes:
- Presentation Round: A brief presentation of the internship project by the intern.
- Final Interview: Selected students undergo the final interview process, with senior Tata leaders.
- PPO Offer: Selected students receive a Pre-Placement Offer from TAS.
Final/Lateral Placements:
Open for second-year students, this offers a full-time job opportunity with the Tata group. The first year as a TAS Officer includes 3 business stints and 1 community stint, followed by final placement in a Tata company.

- Gamified Assessment: Students undergo an exciting gamified assessment.
- Leadership Group Discussion: Shortlisted candidates participate in a leadership group discussions, also known as the Chairman’s GD, on a range of topics.
- Presentation Round: Candidates are further shortlisted for a Presentation Round, where they present their Summer internship projects.
- Final Interview: A face-to-face interaction with senior leaders of the Tata group
