Following the regulatory approval of the merger of Air India and Vistara, the airlines have announced a phased merger which commenced on September 3, 2024, with a commitment to crafting exceptional journeys.
Together, the Air India-Vistara combine will now have an expanded network with broader fleet access, all while creating unforgettable experiences on board and on the ground.
Starting 3 September 2024, ticket sales for selected routes are gradually transitioning from Vistara to Air India. If a desired route has been transferred to Air India, you will be redirected from Vistara to Air India to continue with your booking.
By 12 November 2024, Vistara will be inoperative, and all its operations will be transferred to and managed by Air India. Passengers are assured that they are the airlines' top priority, and will be offered clear guidance and support at every stage of your travel.
